4 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari Itinerary
Days o: Arrival in Arusha
On this day our safari manager will meet you at your Hotel/Lodge in Arusha for detailed safari briefing. Please let us know if you will need the package price to include your transfers & accommodation in Arusha before & after safari.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your safari manager and driver for a briefing before heading to Tarangire National Park. Stop for last-minute purchases and enjoy a scenic drive through the Maasai Steppe, experiencing the vibrant Maasai culture along the way.
Tarangire is famous for its acacia woodlands, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. Spot buffalo, zebras, lions, leopards, and over 400 species of birds, making it a top safari destination.
In the afternoon, travel to Marera Valley Lodge, passing through the stunning Great East African Rift Valley. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views before a relaxing dinner and overnight stay, the perfect start to your Tanzania safari adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through Karatu’s farmlands to the Ngorongoro gate. Stop at the Crater viewpoint for photos before descending into the Serengeti via Malanja depression.
Visit a Maasai village to experience their culture, meet warriors, and enjoy traditional singing and dancing.
Continue to the Serengeti, stop at Naabi Hills gate for registration, and enjoy a packed lunch. In the afternoon, go on a game drive to spot the Big Cats and, depending on the season, the Great Wildebeest Migration. Later, head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Accommodation: Serengeti Bush Camp or similar in Central Serengeti.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day early at 6:30 AM with a breakfast box before heading out for an exciting morning game drive in the Serengeti. Spot cat families on the road and nocturnal predators returning from their night hunts.
Enjoy breakfast in the bush, then head to the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) to witness the herds up close. Even if the migration is not present, the Serengeti is still a top destination for incredible wildlife viewing.
In the afternoon, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with en-route game viewing. Arrive at Rhino Lodge in time for sunset, followed by a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, wrapping up another unforgettable day on your Tanzania safari tour.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge at the Crater rim or similar in Karatu.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Start your day at 6:30 AM with a descent into Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th natural wonder of the world. This unique ecosystem is home to diverse wildlife, including wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare black rhino.
Spot lions, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, and visit Lake Magadi, known for its hippos and flamingos. It's a prime location to see the Big Five in one day. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
In the afternoon, return to Arusha. If you have a late flight, we can drop you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (ideal for KLM at 21:30). Alternatively, accommodation in Arusha can be arranged for a relaxing evening.
